Placement Cell, St. Joseph's College of Commerce came into existence in December 1999. Mrs. Gayatri Tampi was given the portfolio & appointed as Placement Coordinator. Email Id : gayatri@sjcc.edu.in   Aims & Objectives The Placement Cell looks into the interest of our students and recruits Degree & P.G. students in to various multinational & national companies.

The established goodwill of the institution and its strong ties with the industry has enabled Campus Recruitment to take place in spite of the current global recession. Many multi national companies did visit the campus and hired, as well as short-listed a considerable number of our final year students who were interested in taking up job offer.

It commenced with the visit of the four top rated companies from 15-17 th Oct. and 31 Oct. 08. The companies were Google India, De Shaw, Golman Sachs, Deloitte India. In the second phase E & Y, New Wave Computing, and First Source visited the campus to conduct written test and preliminary rounds of interviews. The third and fourth phase consisted of Wipro, Infosys, J P Morgan Chase and Deutsche Bank (Fides), The Writer's Block, Target and Ocwin Financial Services in the months of February and March. Companies like TCS and Price Water Coopers are expected towards the end of March.

For those students who were not placed during campus recruitment, the institution would provide a reference letter and utilise the service of several leading recruitment agencies. I thank Ms. Gayatri Sasi Tampi, in efficiently initiating and organizing the recruitment programme.
