• Invited twice by Kandy Seminary, Kandy, Sri Lanka to conduct personality development programmes. She visited them as the invited Resource Person in January 2005 and September 2008, for personality development programmes which lasted for three months.
• Invited by St. Joseph’s Indian High School, Bangalore to address the parents on PTA meeting on problems faced by teenagers.
• Invited by St. Joseph’s Evening College for a faculty development programme on Mentoring which was conducted on 30th May 2017.
• She also conducts group therapy to SMART organization and to St. Peters seminary, Bangalore.

Ms. Gretta Furtado joined St. Joseph’s College of Commerce as a Student Counsellor in the year 2005. Ms. Gretta has acquired her diploma and certificate course in counseling from the Institute of St. Anselm, UK and M.Sc. in Counseling from Mother Theresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal. She has a vast experience in counselling and group therapy with different cultures including both heterogeneous and homogeneous groups.
