Academic Initiatives

  • Introduction of shared teaching
  • Learning Management System has been utilized to conduct Mid Term Retests
  • Number of electives offered is increased from four to six widening the range of options available to the final year students.
  • Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) – alternative form of open elective offered to students
  • Introduction of Interdisciplinary Open electives.
  • Initiated flexibility for the M. Com (FA) students to pursue a 6 months internship.
  • Collaborated with Exam Department – the design and format of Marks Card has been updated with ten security features.
  • Inclusion of Examination Calendar in the Student Handbook for greater clarity with regard to dates of examination.
  • Induction program for newly admitted students
  • Introduction of value-added GST course
  • Initiated 30-hours of compulsory lectures on GST for student credit
  • Initiated a mandatory 45 hours course in Excel, Tally and Advanced Excel.
  • Dissent and discuss- a discussion forum for students introduced

  • A new Initiative called Erudition – National Level Case Study Competition was conjured with B. Com department
  • Coordinated the visit of international students of Anna van Rijn School of Nieuwegein, Netherlands to campus
  • Coordinated for the inaugural edition of “Erudition”, the National Case Study competition on the 9th of February.

Administrative Initiatives

  • An agreement with Wiley India Pvt. Limited to provide students with the official CMA test preparation content.
  • An Agreement with Miles Publications Pvt. Limited to be responsible for providing marketing collateral, study material and training to faculty members and students towards CMA certification
  • Successfully implemented the Outcome Based Education
