Journey of IQAC



ACADEMIC YEAR 2007-2008

Post the Accreditation of A grade in 2006-2007, the IQAC at SJCC consciously and consistently endeavored to ensure excellence in the academic and non-academic programme offerings of the College. It became primarily responsible for various quality enhancement initiatives. Some of the significant contributions of the IQAC during this year academic year were-

• Conducting National seminar on Women Entrepreneurship.
• Establishment of the Entrepreneurship Cell.
• The organization of a workshop on Research Methodology for all the staff members.
• Organising a 15 days intensive training course in Business Mathematics and Accountancy for the fresh batch of first year B.Com and BBM students.
• Conducting online exams and creatively evolving question banks for students.
• Contributing towards exam reforms.
• Coordinating the activities of the Students’ Council.
• Streamlining the various outreach programmes of the college to improve their effectiveness.

Mr. Ravi Richard, the IQAC Coordinator successfully coordinated all the IQAC activities efficiently for the third consecutive year. In-spite of full time teaching, coordinating the Students’ activities as the Governor of the Students’ Council, he gave his best to enhance the quality of education imparted in the College.
