At St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, the philosophy of the Department of Professional Programmes is rooted in Academic Excellence, Character Formation, and Care for the larger society. With an aim to form industry-leaders with competence and conscience, the Department offers a dynamic portfolio of industry-integrated programmes. Our embedded courses in collaborations with Institute of Analytics, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Management Accountants, and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, provide expert coaching and globally recognized certifications. These programmes seamlessly blend strong academic foundations with professional excellence, enabling students to thrive in accounting, finance, analytics, and strategic leadership roles. Guided by experienced faculty and industry practitioners, the Department ensures a learning environment that is relevant, rigorous, and future-focused. The thoughtfully designed initiatives, like Social and Corporate internships, enable students to engage in experiential learning. About the programme

The Professional programmes in SJCC are integrated undergraduate programs designed to give students the deeper understanding, abilities, and experiences necessary to pursue and succeed in a specific field, such as Analytics, Cost and Management accounting, Auditing, Taxation, and Accounting. These programs' curricula incorporate experiential learning and are accredited by international professional bodies, including ACCA (UK), CIMA (UK), IoA (UK) and US IMA. The curriculum is created and evaluated on a regular basis with the goal of helping students grow in their social, emotional, and cognitive capacities while also fostering academic excellence, character development, and a commitment to social service, the Jesuit values of education.

Students gain the necessary skills through an international curriculum and exposure to an international workplace in classes like Global Taxation. The courses are administered by trained faculties and industry experts who are highly accomplished and competent and who use innovative pedagogical tools and techniques.
